This Privacy Policy explains how Sparks-Holmes for Congress (“the Campaign,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or interact with our campaign.
Update, August 6, 2026. The August 4, 2026 primary has passed and the campaign has concluded. This website no longer accepts contributions, volunteer signups, or yard sign requests, and the donation page has been removed. The only form on the site is a contact form that sends your message to Elizabeth. The sections below describe how we handle information now, and how we handled it while the campaign was active.
Information you give us. When you use the contact form or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the reason you selected for writing, and whatever you choose to put in your message. We use it to reply to you. While the campaign was active, we also collected this information from people signing up for updates, requesting yard signs, or volunteering.
Contributions. This website no longer accepts donations. While the campaign was active, contributions were processed by our third-party payment processor, Anedot; we did not collect or store credit card or bank account numbers on this website. As required by federal law, the Campaign collected and reports the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceeded $200 per election cycle, and it remains subject to those Federal Election Commission reporting obligations.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our host may log basic technical information such as your browser type and general location for security and performance. We load fonts from Google Fonts, and one page embeds a video hosted by Facebook; those providers may set their own cookies when their content loads.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add people who write to us to any fundraising or advocacy list. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us run this website (for example, our form/email service), and only so they can perform those services. We disclose contribution information as required by the Federal Election Commission, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.
If you provide a phone number, we may use it to reply to you. We do not operate an automated text-messaging program. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the contact information below.
You may ask us to update or remove your information, or stop contacting you, by emailing lizholmes84259@gmail.com. Email updates include a way to unsubscribe.
Our website links to outside sites (such as social media and news coverage). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
